My name has recently changed, but it has not updated in Activity Insight. Why?
We don’t change names automatically, we ask users to notify us when they want their name changed. Because when we change names in our Users and Security screen it will change your name on all of your records. We will not assume you want your past publications, presentations, or contract/grants to remain with your new name. If you are good with your past records having your new name then it is an easy fix. But if you want your past records to reflect your old name prior to the change there are some things we need to do in the system to make that happen. We are happy to do that for you, just contact us at ai-support@psu.edu with your new name and the month and year you changed your name and we will make the magic happen.
